Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Canadian Coin Heads mobile application ("the App") operated by Canthropic Inc. ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Canadian Coin Heads is a mobile application designed to help users:

• Track numismatic coin collections
• Manage precious metals (bullion) inventory
• Calculate melt values based on user-entered spot prices
• Browse mintage information for Canadian coins
• Export and import collection data

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of data you enter into the App
• Maintaining backups of your collection data
• Keeping your device secure
• Using the App in compliance with applicable laws

5. Spot Prices and Valuations

The App allows you to enter spot prices for precious metals. Please note:

• Spot prices must be entered manually by the user
• We do not provide real-time or automated spot price feeds
• Calculated melt values are estimates only
• Actual market values may differ significantly from calculated values
• Premium, condition, rarity, and market demand affect real-world values

6. Data and Backups

Your collection data is stored locally on your device. We strongly recommend:

• Regularly exporting your data using the App's export feature
• Keeping backup copies in multiple locations
• Enabling device backups through iCloud or iTunes

We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, app deletion, or any other cause.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Canthropic Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Mintage Database

The App includes a database of Canadian coin mintage information. This information is provided for reference purposes only:

• We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee completeness
• Official mintage figures should be verified with the Royal Canadian Mint
• The database may not include all releases

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canthropic Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's standard EULA terms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms will govern to the extent required.
