Collection Data: All coin and bullion data you enter is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.
No Account Required: You do not need to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app.
No Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics services to track your usage.

2. How We Use Information

Since we don't collect personal information, there's nothing for us to use. Your collection data exists solely on your device to provide you with the app's functionality.

3. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your iOS device:

Coin collection data
Bullion stack data
Settings and preferences
Spot price values you enter

This data is protected by your device's security features, including encryption and biometric authentication if enabled.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not have access to your data in the first place. Your collection information remains entirely under your control.

5. Export Feature

The app includes an export feature that allows you to save your collection data as a JSON file. When you use this feature:

The exported file is created locally on your device
You control where the file is saved and who it's shared with
We have no access to exported files

6. iCloud Sync (Future Feature)

A future version may include optional iCloud sync functionality. If implemented:

Sync will be opt-in and disabled by default
Data will be synced directly through Apple's iCloud infrastructure
We will not have access to your iCloud-synced data
Apple's privacy policies will govern iCloud data handling

7. Children's Privacy

Canadian Coin Heads is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
